We came here on a friend’s recommendation and we were not disappointed. Excellent drink list. The biscuits were fantastic. The highlight was the shrimp and linguini entree. A little pricey but not as high as some of the other restaurants in this area. Casual vibe. Great dining room area. I would return.

We were traveling with our dog and figured if we saw a spot with outdoor eating, we wouldn’t have to return our dog to the car. My husband ordered the steak and fries and I ordered the salmon. Not only were we asked how we wanted our proteins cooked , they were also cooked to those specifications. My salmon was actually the best salmon I’ve ever had at a restaurant!!! Our waiter was prompt, efficient and friendly. Great place! Thanks!

The food is extremely good and super satisfying. The fried chicken is crunchy and flavorful, they also bread the fries so they're crunchy. Being fried it's definitely oily, and I felt that somewhat after I ate but I enjoyed the meal.

Chris was our server and is very personable and kind. Ceasar salad was fabulous, huevos rancheros was the best and freshest tasting I’ve ever had!!!

The rainbow carrots appetizer was delicious, and so generous! I felt like I'd ordered a whole entree almost, but I didn't mind because it was so good and not too filling either. They were flexible with substitutions as well which is always nice, I subbed in broccolini for collard greens with my country fried steak and could not have been happier! The linguine and shrimp were great, not too rich or over garlicky, but still plenty tasty.

Great lunch at pawpaw last week. Everything we had was amazing. The hush puppies and Mac and cheese may have been the best we have ever had! Service was excellent (the best we got during our stay in Charleston) and the restaurant is beautiful. Looking forward to our next visit.

Excellent service, nice ambience and wonderful flavors. They accommodated our gluten-free requests for celiac diners in our party. Happy to report that 24 hours later we were okay and there was no contamination. The froze and their signature hard lemonade were delicious. The Mac and cheese and Ahi tuna starters were excellent. The mains were fantastic -- fish plate and shrimpgrits were tasty but rich. Salads had a nice flavor. We will definitely return on our next visit.

We came on a second Sunday at lunch and had no wait. The lunch menu is reasonably priced. Prices ranged from 9 for sandwiches and salads to 28 for market swordfish and grouper. The waitress told us that they pride themselves in having the most wines on tap. We got the Cuban, burger, and fried chicken sandwich. All were excellent! The fries that went with it were just as good. I really liked the decor of the restaurant. It was simple and tasteful. I look forward to coming to this place for dinner later.
